It's Karneval! Or Fasching, depending on where you're from.(for non-Germans, Karneval a very popular festive season; the entire city of Cologne shuts down for an all-day party, similar to Mardi Gras in New Orleans)
And one very, VERY important aspect of Karneval? The Büttenrede. Part stand-up comedy show, part satire, part roasting politics and human nature. German comedian Paco Erhard's hilarious stand-up delivered with an edge of clever wordplay.
As part of this colorful performance, we will also enjoy a Krampus walk and German folk dancing.
Gather your German-American friends (and your German friends, your American friends, or enemies) as a German comedian takes the stage.
For one special night, Tampa Bay turns into a Rheinland Karneval Comedy Show: Kick-ass German comedy (yes, you heard right), cold beer, delicious pretzels, and just a fantastic German time.
